X-Men: The Last Stand

X-Men: The Last Stand expands on the themes of discrimination and alienation explored in the first two films, and still retains the franchise's signature kick-butt action features.

It also has a couple of emotionally resonant scenes that build on the first two story lines. But it lacks the intriguing moody quality of the previous films. The mutants are more pumped up and angry this time, rather than misunderstood and conflicted.

The main characters return for a third go-round. On the side of good are Professor Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart), Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), Storm (Halle Berry), Rogue (Anna Paquin), Cyclops (James Marsden) and Jean Grey ...

Ok best explain that i hated all the X-Men films. Yeah the first two were good films but as Xmen films they were terrible.

Why take the name of something that you have no intention of being faithful to? Why not make a superman film with Superman in it for 10 minutes then follow batman taking a holiday on Mars fighting Darth Vader. (ok a bit OTT)

But seriously these films have very little to do with the true Xmen. Then have the stupidity to ruin what characters they do involve.

Of the many things I have enjoyed over the course of the X-Men franchise, the regular, dead-serious use of the word "mutant" has been my favorite. "Mutant" is the champagne of teen insults, and X-Men holds a special place as the paragon of teen misfit angst dramas. To hear Patrick Stewart purr the handle in his velvety tones is especially satisfying; here, finally, is an oppressed minority that doesn't bother fiddling with politically correct terms when it has bigger things to worry about.

juggernaut.....almost made me stop watching. all the 4 films so far are bullshit, but "x-men origins:wolverine" is probably the closest to the actual comic.....well some parts. stay away from the first 3, "origins" is the only good one. 1 of 4 stars awful.

I HATED ALL THE X-MEN Movies. A REAL FAN of the Comic Series, I am so old school with X-Men I was so angry when I watched the first one and they basically ignored the personal backgrounds but kept bits and pieces anyway. If theyвЂ™re going to do an alternate universe then create an alternate universe but none of this by definition was an alternate universe. It was CRAP. The whole Jean Grey Double Personality Phoenix was just BS; Phoenix was an entire entity that entered Jean Grey from SPACE. Obviously these movies made me write major hate fan mail to Stan Lee. They only made these movies to rake in the money JUST like the Resident Evil Movies they didn't give a shit about the fans, even though they'll pathetically attempt to say they did. Regardless...people should boycott these movies so that they get the point they shouldn't ruin good stories to begin with.
