I liked this movie, as a generic superpowered hero complex movie it's great, the interactions and relationships between the characters were well drawn. As an X-men movie, OMFG how much can you get wrong and still try and sell it as the X-men??? *sigh* and was it just me or did they run out of time/money so bits of it seemed rushed and/or slightly unfinished compared with the rest of the film?

It really is a no brainier why they're losing loyal fans, and replacing them with people who don't know any better. It's always about making money. I mean seriously Marvel Productions can do right with every other film, but they still haven't nailed X-Men.
Which is why I refuse to pay for these films, I refuse to give them anymore money.

The only thing 'right' about this film is the relationship shared between Professor X, and Magneto. Originally Charles didn't get paralyzed like that; it was a horse ridding accident. Everything else about this movie can take a hike. If you are a loyal reader of X-Men, you'll probably complain about it as much as I did. Kevin Bacon finally did a great job acting, and he made a great Shaw, but two thumbs down on everything else. I mean Emma is wearing a two-dollar Wal-Mart bra, you mean to tell me they could sit Mystique three hours on the table for make up, but they couldn't take an extra hour out of the schedule to make Emma a proper corset? GTFO of here! Casting for some roles was just horrible to look at. Emma was one of the failed casted roles. :rolls eyes: Ugh...

The beginning of this movie is in Russian, it won't ever be in English. You have to READ the subtitles. The rest of the movie, should be in English, aside from some parts which are not subtitled, you'll have to bare with it, or skip the film.
