Four middle-aged men (Tim Allen, John Travolta, Martin Lawrence, William H. Macy) decide to take a road trip from Cincinnati to the Pacific in order to get away from their lives which are leading them nowhere. Taking their motorcycles, these "Wild Hogs" tear up the road and eventually stop in New Mexico for a drink not knowing that the bar belongs to the "Del Fuegos", a mean biker gang. When the Del Fuegos steal a bike that belongs to the Wild Hogs, the four men form a plan to steal their bike back.
Four middle-aged guys stuck in a rut and bored with life in general, looking for adventure to break the monotony. I thought the actors portrayed their characters with authenticity and must have had tons of fun making this extremely entertaining film.
I especially liked the scene of John Travolta (Woody) and William Macy (Dudley) practicing dancing together. Most of the scenes were somewhat predictable, this doesn't stop you laughing out loud. Just take it for what it is, amusing entertainment, and you'll be sure to enjoy it. Sometimes we just want silliness to escape from real...
Male menopause spews a lot of exhaust in Wild Hogs, a high-concept middlebrow comedy with Tim Allen, John Travolta, Martin Lawrence and William H. Macy as staid suburbanites who decide to discover America a la Easy Rider. Peter Fonda actually turns up in the closing reel, yet one suspects fictive Captain America is spinning somewhere in his off-highway grave. Uninspired script and broad slapstick yuks won't earn this any plaudits, but slick, safe package should do OK with North American mall auds. Offshore appeal is likely to be weaker, though ancillary action in most territories will be solid.
Stars portray upper-middle-class weekend warriors who straddle ...
Hilarious hog heaven......
For some the line between middle age and teenage gets a bit blurred and when middle age gets comfortable (or not) and you are trying to regain that former glory this is what can happen. This is a really funny movie, ok there is a formula in it, but it is cast so well and the hilarious lines come so thick and fast you won't give a hoot. For me i'd rather go a a triumph (or perhaps a shiny ferrarri red - reliable - ducati if there is one out there pleaaaaase) rather than a Harley, but hey I suggest you get on your bike, whatever it might be, and give this one a watch, a highly recommended fun movie.

It had some pretty funny moments, but overall it wasn't hilarious. I'm not going to watch it again, but I don't regret watching it. The best thing about this movie is its cast, obviously, and the bikes, of course, they were awesome.
