Sunday Film
This has to be what I can only describe as the ultimate Sunday movie. If you can picture yourself on Sunday fully fed and in a warm room with nothing better to do but relax and watch an un-taxing extremely entertaining film then this is possible one of the best. The scenes and colouring of the film is typical classic late 50's with the Technicolor looking beautifully re-mastered. This is without doubt one film I truly love and a film that is also great for all round family entertainment. Kirk Douglas and Tony Curtis give brilliant performances as two unknowing brothers one a high ranking Viking the other a Viking slave in respective order. Beer drinking, Axe throwing for pub games, fighting and wenches for the taking make this a truly entertaining film. If you like other classics like "Ben Hur" or "Spartacus" and have not seen "The Vikings" then give it a try you will not be disappointed. Like wise if you like more modern fantasy films like "Conan" then watch this to see two of the 1950's big name stars in a truly great film.
