UnforgettableLiotta is a man wrongly accused of murdering his wife. In his quest to find out the truth, he meets a scientist (Fiorentino) who has developed a way of transferring memory by injection. He decides this will provide the breakthrough he needs. There are opportunities here for Dahl to play with sci-fi conventions in the way he played with noir conventions in the deftly crafted and faultless The Last Seduction, but he fails completely. The script is terrible, the direction slow, and the charmless performances from the two leads unforgivable. It is difficult to call to mind a less aptly named film.
