Im never EVER judging a movie by its genre or trailers again i thought this was an over-hyped romance flick with boring posh vampires. The only people i knew recommending this were female so that said alot about it, i thought let me give it a try with all the hype it's getting and it was definetly worth it. A touching movie that doesn't get too carried away with the romance and brings in some action scenes for the male audience. It was very interesting and towards the end got a bit tense i highly regret not watching it all this time now. 9.5/10

More of a love story than a typical vampire movie, but I love it. I love the twist on what sunlight does to a vampire. You will have to watch it to see what I mean. I must say I have seen this movie about 10 times. It is fast becoming one of my favorites! I would have liked more questions answered, but I guess I will have to read the book for more detail. I give it 5/5

I'm convinced you must have read and loved the books to find this movie great.

It hardly has a leg to stand on. The gloomy atmosphere seems hardly fitting for a love story.

As a vampire movie it just doesn't measure up.

I guess it's just not my cup of tea even though I love vampire movies and romances. Go figure.

Ok, to start this off, I only watched this because I have chronological OCD. My sister made me watch New Moon,( that sucked too) so I had to watch the first one. Not too fond of the sparkly gay vampire crap. Robert Pattinson did a better job in Harry Potter, and for the record I didn't think too highly of those movies either. This movie, Twilight, wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but it is still about a bunch of sparkly gay vampires. Oh, [SPOILER]
