Get ready to pi** yourself
This has to be the funiest movie since 40 Year Old Virgin. All the cast are on top form and the action scenes are really well directed by Stiller, even giving the latest Rambo a run for its money. Of course everything is done with a commic touch, which will make you laugh again and again. From the fake trailers of the actors at the start of the film to the paradies of countel less action movies like Predator to Saving Private Ryan.

But the real star of the film is Tom Cruise! He is fantastic. His bad language will make even Ozzy Osbourne blush. I don't care if he's alien from outer space, he dances better than any of those Z list celebs ever could from Strictly Come Dancing an...

Opposites do more than attract in Ben Stiller???s unapologetic R-rated comedy Tropic Thunder -- they loudly and defiantly collide. Simultaneously smart and dumb, mixing clever satire with way over-the-top raunch and unrelenting profanity, this equal opportunity offender risks running off some of the very people who might appreciate it the most.

In his first turn at starring, directing and co-writing since 2001's memorable Zoolander, Stiller has taken as his target all things Hollywood, including the perfidy of producers and agents, and the self-involvement of actors who say things like "I don't read the script; the script reads me."

There'll be debate about the political correctness of having a white actor black up to portray a black charactor,there'll be debate about an actor playing a 'retard',and the use of the word 'retard'. But for me the only source of debate concerning this film is whether

or not it is funny.And unfortunately the answer is a resounding NO. Everything good about this turkey is in the 45 second trailer and on the poster. Messers Stiller,Downey Jnr,and Jack Black all in the same movie should be able to generate laughs,but someone forgot to write a script. quite possible the greatest comedy ever made. i cant decide between this one and "the big lebowski". you will love from beginning to end. a must watch, cannot miss almost masterpiece of a comedy. 3 1/2 of 4 stars excellent.

only Ben Stiller could have written, produced, and directed this twisted comedy, that is more about the motions actors go through to get into character than anything else, the fake trailers were kinda funny, but I would label this movie a DARK COMEDY, cause its so violent and funny, 8/10
