Weak even by the standard of uninspired recent Asian-horror remakes, The Uninvited is more likely to induce snickers and yawns than shudders and yelps. Inauspicious feature debut for co-helmers Charles and Thomas Guard -- billed as "the Guard Brothers," though the brothers Coen, Wachowski and Polish needn't lose any sleep over the new sibs in town -- is a flat, obvious effort that doesn't begin to approach the creepiness of the 2003 South Korean original A Tale of Two Sisters. Genre's current robust health will make this a decent but fast-fading B.O. starter, with easy ancillary profits following.

Didn't see this one coming......
The Uninvited is an unexpected film. It's not brilliant, but it does keep you guessing, and the end is certainly worth waiting for . I am usually someone that can guess twists in plots within a quarter of the film time but this film caught me unawares, with a really superb twist in the end.Had a few jumpy parts as well, which is rare these days in horror thriller type films.
Uninvited, The Watch the latest Up promo.
The latest offering from Disney Pixar finds a 78-year-old balloon vendor using his products to take off on the adventure of a lifetime.
Brilliant Film.
I would reccommend anyone to go and see this film, especially if you enjoyed the korean film A tale of two sisters. The film provides shocking moments and a brilliant twist at the end, Which i honestly never expected. The title The uninvited doesn't really relate to the film in the aspect i thought it may of. And there could be more of a presence of spooks and moments to cringe at. but overall a watcher for any modern horror lovers.
A stylish horror thriller in the vein of The Ring, it's well-acted, frightening and handsomely produced.
Though not in the top tier of psychological horror flicks, The Uninvited is well-paced and offers enough jolts and twists to keep an audience sufficiently on the edge of their seats to offset the price of admission. Events have an effectively off-putting ambiguity.
But it does offer up many standard, even time-worn, ingredients of scare fare: Most of the drama takes place in an isolated, stately home, an ideal haunted mansion. A wicked-stepmother type menaces two teenage girls, while their fa...

The Uninvited offers ironclad proof that Hollywood should give up the ghost already when it comes to remaking Asian horror movies. But really, how many ticket buyers in The Uninvited's targeted teen demographic know -- or care -- that it can't hold a flickering candle to the South Korean original, Kim Jee-woon's 2003 creep-fest, A Tale of Two Sisters?
Where Kim created a deeply unsettling vibe with a sinister house and a host of deeply unhinged characters, The Uninvited settles for a grab bag of horror-movie tropes (the heroine sees dead people -- and then some!).
Teenager Anna (Emily Browning) believes there's something evil in her house....

This film was great! i didn't think it would be that's why i didn't watch it in theaters. I had to rewind it after the ending, i was shocked lol [SPOILER]
i would've never thought that Alex was dead, until i saw the flash backs..she was wearing the same clothes from the beginning of the movie when she died.
This movie was so hard to understand, you haft to watch it a couple off times befor you really can understand it. I stil dont get some off it. This movis was really good though, and the end was so wired. The best wod be if they make a nummber 2 off the movie, so we can see what happens with annas life.
The whole movie led a path to a straight answer then in the end it all twisted around so the beginning she was herself but when she got out of her dads car and saw her sister for the first time she was imagining the whole thing? wierd I mean I expected she had somthing to do with the death but at least it wasnt on purpose
Okay well I'll give it 7/10 Good actors blood kept blood pumping minor fails
This was a great movie. The storyline was excellent. The twist at the end really 'took me for a loop'.. I did not expect it at all. [SPOILER]
The girl turns out to be the real killer. And she made up things in her mind to try and erase the real memory of what happened that fateful night her mother died in the fire.
. The acting was phenomenal. All in all I give the movie 4/5 stars.. Would recommend this to anyone.
IT was ok I guess, worth a watch..I wouldn't watch it again. I guess I just have to high of expectations for horror movies.. it's really hard to find a good one. 2 stars.
It was good, made me jump lmaoo. I kind of wanted to get into the movie and kill Rachel myself or atleast beat her a bit. -_-" Slightly annoyed that only one link worked for me, yet it didn't have the last 10 minutes. But it was great from what I saw.
