In it's day this would have been an outstanding movie. Some great acting even by today's standards (ESPECIALLY by today's standards). The concept of the story was good, the screen play was - well - rubbish.

If you're going to cut it the slack of its age then 9/10.

If judged against contemporary films that don't use masses of CGI and special effects 3/10
