I really think you can enjoy a movie without the words or subtitles. Some of the best silent movies were without actual subtitles. You could tell what was going on just by looking at the action on the screen. Action movies fit that.

If you like the Initial D movie and the Internal Affairs series, you will not be disappointed by this one. Even without the subtitles I think most people can follow along, it is an action movie after all. Art has no boundaries. 4/5

BUT, all you need is to pay attention to the context of each situation and a great story comes through. I would admit to not understanding the entire movie, but the ending was a masterpiece of marksmanship. Good movie, and keep it global.. after all, hollywood needs contenders..
