The acting is mostly deadpan and undramatic, the story is cliched and nothing is explained. It's a mockumentary with few chills, little story, strangely detached characters, and nothing satisfying in the watching of it.

It was pretty creepy. If this was real, I would be very afraid because I live pretty close to Poughkeepsie. Some of the acting and writing was mediocre and just plain bad, though. The one scene [SPOILER] really freaked me out!

Not expecting much after reading all the comments I still wanted to see this regardless of what anyone said about it..it seemed interesting and I love anything shocking, but this really wasn't too good. Not believable, dull and got horriblely boring that I turned it off after trying to watch most of it. The way it's filmed is cheesy however I do like documentary style movies, but the low budget showed. Too bad 5/10

slow and akward movie. The material was delivered in a herky jerky fashion. I like the twist. It made the movie unbelievble. Good thrillers have a twist that is natural and shocking. I still was entertained by the movie. IT is not for everyone. low budget and not well acted. minor shock value.

wow this documentary was played out well in my opinion,it was pretty sad I had no idea this was happening during 9/11,this was horrible to know this was happening out there and that it probably is still going on and neither none of us know anything about it,while we're living our lives,there may be innocents getting brutally tortured and killed or there maybe another victim or more like cheryl out there with a psycho monster like this.

This movie was just an inspiration of famously known serial killers and an actual serial killer that did haunt Poughkeepsie. But this story taking it as it was portrayed in this movie is not real. B/c serial killers have a purpose to their killings and they keep a pattern. They are not sloppy with their killings as this person was in this movie. Every serial killer in history had a pattern of victims and killings that matched each time.
