The Long ShipsIn the 'so bad it's good' category of movies, this is pure rubbish, but thoroughly enjoyable rubbish.
Viking Richard Widmark is looking for a giant bell made of gold, but so is Sidney Poitier, a Moorish chieftain. It's a race between the two of them as they whip their querulous crews towards Spain and the amazing treasure. Not only are they in competition with each other, they also have to fight dissent within their crews, a challenge that Widmark faces with good humour while Poitier comes over all nasty and villainous.
