I understand that he feels like a foreigner in spain, he doesnt speak spanish and thats why his entire world is muted and subtitled, but they really abuse ths concept and despite i liked how the main character kept his cool, his acting as being this serious boring man was superb, the movie just doesnt cut it, not only is it slow but its a movie without meaning.. im all about abstract visual artsy movies but this one is just a big flop. it did have potential though. Here i can sum up the movie with one scene: Background sound says

"sometimes i like to make films where ppl just sit there and not say anything" and then we see just that in silence for the next 15 seconds.

2/5 for the visuals and the potential
