The Day the Earth Stood Still was rated 8/10 by a few critics, but as for me, the storyline lacks sequence of events.That’s why it was quite difficult for me to watch it till the end which happened to be very predictable.Anyway Robert Wise is not the one that I respect.

That was a cool film. It was created in 1951 and to my opinion for that time it was a real chef-d'oeuvre to such an extend that even nowadays The Day the Earth Stood Still is considered to be the top-rate film.
