what a good film i recently saw something on tv about the real countess bathory what a crazy b## and that cage thing that she used just sickins me they should have beheaded her to.anyways the movie was great had good acting i give it5/5 stars

I enjoyed this production immensely (and not having seen Bathory yet, I can’t make any comparisons, as other members have pointed out) the whole feel to the film kept me engrossed in the story from start to finish, I highly recommend watching it and rate it a 5-/5.

Hmm.. it is interesting to see no matter what's you're station or fate in life, unhappiness is a currency we all find and share in some measure in commonwealth.

This is indeed was during the dark ages of the church; where biblical ideology was used as a political weapon and kept from the eyes of the many and to control such. Written in latin and greek and left to interpretation of those of nobility and religious power, this was the was noble corruption.

Could this be also the origins vampirism of europe?..something to ponder.

I will say, in the absent clear biblical doctrinal knowledge, the many false hood and imagnations expressed by the Countess in the arena of love, rights of happiness, injustice, self-righteous and relationships becomes concieved standards of the mind.
