This film reminded me of another classic Don't Look Now, but this tale deals with the idea that emotions can create something powerful enough to kill, the acting is surprisingly good, (Oliver Reed is one of my favourites) despite the script that that borders on the insane, the ending is quite typical for a Cronenberg film, and leaves room for a sequel, I rate it a 4-/5.
