Wow! I finally watched it, and now I can say I really understand why it's still in the first 10 movies on the box office! And the movie really IS great. It has a very good story, to laugh, and cry. And, above all it has a strong message for all of us!! Oh, and, Sandra deserves all the awards she can get, because this is one of her best performances!!

It was an awesome enhancing movie to be felt in the heart in this movie portrayal. A family taking in a person to be shown a positive direction had a large tug of the emotions to us all as we watched. It had in this movie some great actors in this setting. 9.5

Poignant and moving, yet completely realistic. At times funny, at times shocking, but always told with a silent and powerful narrative. The characters come off as real people living real lives. Nothing is overplayed, nor overacted and one of the film's strongest strengths is in the silence and nonchalance of its main character. Michael's quiet, serious presence is meaningful by its very stoicism and in the rare times he does smile, one's heart lifts with him. Sandra Bullock is amazing in this film.

Really good movie. I liked it. Sandra Bullock does not need to dye her hair blonde again. She looks better as a brunette. I didn't realize that the dad was Tim McGraw. lol 8/10
