	Storyline:	It is rather eccentric that in the film the Beaver narrates a story. It is about a man (Mal Gibson) who is permanently in a deep depression. He cannot talk to his wife (Jodie Foster), his elder son (Anton Yelchin) or anyone else around him. He even makes an awkward suicide attempt which was in vain, the hanging process went wrong. An old neglected puppet helps to solve the problem. The man uses it to communicate. And it works! The career is renewed and goes on successfully, the marriage is mended and socialising seems to be more or less all right at the moment. An old neglected puppet gains a new lease of life as he helps the man to communicate. And it works! His career is successfully renewed. His marriage is mended and socialising seems to be slowly improving.

Mel Gibson in the leading role is really worth your watching.

You know, I just couldn't stand this movie. Maybe it was because I've seen Mel Gibson 'play' Mel Gibson before. All his facial expressions are the same in every movie he does...(Along with Jodi Foster) - What a joke...this movie was boring. I would have liked it more if we weren't watching over-used actors.
