His accent leaves much to be desired, and Val Kilmer well glad his is a "bit part" but Cage was BRILLIANT and it's a film that went full circle, the irony, ENJOYABLE.

Plus if me and my kiddos ever get separated we always meet up at Cages house off the Quarter, he's rarely there, but if he is he's a delightful man, ready with some cold iced tea for teens and or their mom's waiting to meet back up with one another.

Great depiction of "WHAT IT TAKES" in crime cities like the Big Easy, and my "home town" for the last 20 odd years, corruption is how you get the corrupt. It's sad how many Vice cops I used to treat for SA when a psych RN but it's a different world, they HAVE to do the drugs or it's an instant giveaway they're cops. They do such great work as this MOVIE shows but at what price..

Of course not as good as Harvey Keitel's 1992 Bad Lieutenant but a decent attempt. The ending threw me a bit, expected something nasty to happen. If your a cage fan you wont be disappointed. All in all I realyy enjoyed it. 8/10

i liked it. nicholas cage's performance was outstanding. he always plays the role of a nutjob perfectly. i didnt really care for the ending though..kind of left me feeling like what just happened? [SPOILER] all in all i thought it was a good movie. definitely worth watching. 8/10

A very intense movie.. I think this was one of Nicholas Cage's best performances.. The style was kinda trippy and reminded me of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas except The Bad Lieutenant was darker and had more grit.. I could see how people could love it or hate it.. I loved it and will watch again sometime.. 5/5..

This was not a bad movie. Nicolas Cage was a mess in a good way. He played his role very well. Great cast, Eva Mendes, Val Kilmar, & Exzibit were Great. A little action, drugs, and violence. 3 out of 5 stars for me.

im so happy for nick cage. he's made crap lately, but this film is fucking awesome. last time i saw nick cage this good was in "leaving las vegas". do not miss this film you will love it, i recommend plus 100. SEE IT NOW. 3 1/2 of 4 stars excellent.
