Maybe not everyone cups of tea as it's a dark movie on Sylvia Plath's encroaching mental illness, and its influence on her work.
The movie gives a sense of the poet state of mind during her life, until she commits suicide. It's an attempt to explain the macabre, hallucinatory and emotional power in her poems imagery. This was not an easy subject to cover and I think it was done rather well. |
