Bollywood is still far away from producing good quality films with less melodrama.. This falls somewhere in between. Basically this movie tend to strike at the hearts of many of those Indian NRIs living away form their homeland.. Kinda shows them what they are all capable of (like this scientist in the movie) and they are not doing any of it for selfish reasons. Developing country like India, trying to escape from poverty, ruthless street gangs, mafia, cinema industry and money minded heartless politicians from controlling the government and lives of the general public.. usually seeks out these NRIs (their lucky Indians who found their way out) like Mohandas Ghandi (who lead India to Independence) or their own local youths like in the movie Rang De Basanti as similar to the Nation's legendary Heroes: Bhagat Singh, and Chandrashekhar Azad.. or even someone like Subhas Chandra Bose, To lead current people of India to find their path to the light again. I gave this movie either 3 or 4 stars.
