Once you lose your family, everything is lost and you have nothing to look foward to and you just live day by day, hoping to live. Its the story of these two.. and I still have shivers down my spine when I think of the quote "you will cross the border, but it wont be with the help of god, but rather with the devil" the psychic couldnt have been any more right. What a story 5/5.

wow thats a tough film and sadly very believable
if you can cope with/dont mind subtitles this film is well worth a watch 7/10 but will mark upwards to an 8/10 4/5  top expert 1 years ago Spam

I was fortunate to view the English subtitled version of this movie. It's a hard tale of the experiences that people go through to get to North America via the Mexican immigration trail. There's that story and another of gang life rolled into one to make this journey a hard-hitting tragi-masterpiece. This is a gritty, gripping fusion of romance, drama and chase thriller..As a viewer when watching this, you feel like you have been dropped in the middle of a broiling danger zone.. part of this films brilliance is it has great natural actors who get right under the characters skin so it feels semi real..and it gives you a chance to get to know the characters.. so when the tension racks up and danger lurks around every corner you actually care and worry about the main characters.. and the hoodlums in this are not cartoon villains they are scary vicious monsters.. great film 4+/5
