Silent MovieA bit of a weird departure from Mel Brooks and his comedy team (Marty Feldman, DeLuise and all the usual suspects), as a trio of film-makers who attempt to put the money back into an ailing studio by making their first silent film for over 40 years. Thus they creep around without actually saying anything, trying to convince megastars to appear and generally indulging in the kind of physical comedy that works hilariously. Not one of Brooks' classics but it is very funny, plus you have the added bonus of seeing mime legend Marcel Marceau utter the film's sole line.
