WOW this is absolutly the best SHERLOCK HOLMES so far. It looks like there will be a sequal hopefully so. They havnt killed sherlock holmes infact theyve made it better. I am most glad they made this. Its the best the most entertaining holmes of all time. 10/10!

I thought it would be boring after seeing the Trailer, but then I learned it was Guy Ritchie's. Being a huge fan of some of his previous films (Snatch, Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, Revolver), I had to give it a shot. I'm disappointed I didn't watch it sooner. I love the way he unfolds a story. If you like his other films, you'll like this one. 8.5/10.

Great movie, loved the casting and Ritchie's take on a classic character. Jr and Law were amazing in their roles, really had you believing that one wouldn't work without the other. Plus I can watch anything with Rachel McAdams.

Good movie at parts..but I found it really slow..then it would pick up and get interesting again then go slow again. The detective work in it was cool and so was the fight scenes, but would not be able to watch this again and again. I think the ratings are over rated. 6.5/10

I was so excited when I heard Downey Jr was doing this role especially knowing he was given creative license with Holmes character. Absolutely love Downey Jr., I have been telling people for at least 15yrs now that he is one of the best of the best. Now I see that Guy Ritchie has some ass kicking talent as well.

This is a timeless classic melding old story with modern formula without being trite. Well done boys, cheers!
