Loved it, loved it, LOVED IT!
It's got Margi Clark in it, so of course it was about gritty Northeners making something beautiful out of their mundane lives. I've been a fan of hers forever, and this movie did nothing to change that.
A real 'feel good' movie, but also a bit of a 'girls' movie I suspect - it is very observational about how women think and about their motivations. Martin Cloones is particularly brilliant as a car-obsessed husband who never grew up. I won't spoil the ending, but suffice to say, everyone gets what they deserve. |
