Where's the laughs?
I thought this was a rather unfunny movie. A couple of funny moments and a very predictable storyline made us wishing for it to end.
No where near as good as Simon Pegg's previous films (Hot Fuzz/Shaun of the Dead).

Definately one of the comedies of 2007 so far !!!, O.K. you might accuse it of possibly not being groundbreakingly unique, but this is a real laugh out loud, fantastically funny, look at winning and losing in love, and the lengths (and humiliations) the male will go to, to claim that certain 'one'.. After a huge false start, Pegg (as Dennis) is on a race against time to turn Chubby into hubby... can it be done, well we can all probably sort of guess from frame one, but how it gets there and the whole mish mash of characters we meet on the journey is well worth the trip. First off i gotta say i really love every roll Simon pegg does. He just has a really good comedy skill to him that allows me to enjoy the movies hes a part of. As for this film it has some great laughs but honestly the plot is a bit overused so theres not much there to stick too. The comedy parts are great though and its pretty much worth the watch there. so check it out just dont expect anything fantastic. 3/5.
I loved this movie, so much fun and entertaining with such a nice great ending. One of those "feel good" movies that is around. I know I have seen a similar movie before, but can't remember. It is not comedy as such, but rather a feel good kinda movie.

I loved every minute of it.. funny.. entertaining.. perfect movie! 10/10. Its definately a MUST watch. The ending i thought would of been different still good though. I liked the part where [SPOILER]
