Rocky is the ultimate underdog story. Even though I liked Raging Bull better, Rocky is more inspirational. Kudos to Stallone for his beautiful and intelligent writing. 4/4 stars!

Few movies specially with theme of sporting are remembered as classic cult movies and Rocky is one of them. Rocky have been made before this movie with different name but the movie Rocky starring Sylvester Stallone has been immortalized for decades to come. great inspirational movie for those who are struggle to achieve some thing in life.

Rocky's soundtrack was composed by Bill Conti. The main theme song, "Gonna Fly Now," made it to number one on the Billboard Magazines Hot 100 list for one week (from July 2 to July 8, 1977) and the American Film Institute placed it 58th on its AFI's 100 Years.. 100 Songs.

now with a lighter part when i first saw this movie i got fired up and started to copy Rocky habbits and show in this movies but with disastrous results, i drink six raw eggs and vomited through out the day. oh these were my crazy teenage days and still this movie is my all time favorite. 10/10 for it.

An absolutely fantastic classic that just has to be watched, a little slow at times and can bore the odd audience but it really is gold. Stallone plays Rocky amazingly and handles the role so easily as if he was in Rocky's shoes. Soundtrack is worth a mention aswell as someone else mentioned the 'gonna fly now' song was ranked 1st for a whole week and is still a hit today you hear it all over the place. Apollo is an amazing opponent for rock and the movie can really inspire you to achieve your goals. well worth the time
