A Marilyn Monroe vehicle yes, but still a fine western affording a look at America's past. Though I wonder how historically correct those Indians are: They look like stereotypical Plains Indians, and I think California Indians looked different.

Nice to see two Hollywood legends on screen: Perhaps not Robert Mitchum's best acting (how to forget The Night of the Hunter?), but Marilyn looks like a million bucks both in period dresses and jeans, and bursts though the screen with her inimitable body language and coy acting.
