After defeating Von Doom, the Fantastic Four can really enjoy life more. All four are now comfortable with their new powers. The Thing and Johnny Storm now get along with each other, and Sue Storm is now planning to be Mrs. Fantastic. Galactus, an evil creature in space, has decided that Earth is it's new target, and sends the Silver Surfer to destroy it. Reed Richards and his team must now work together to capture this surfer, and even must now team up with one individual who they didn't expect to help.
Not Fantastic unfortunately
I hated the first film but thought I would give this a chance being a Silver Surfer fan.
My fears were confirmed this is aweful, TV movie at best...
Awful, truly disgraceful
Potentially the worst film I have ever seen. The lead character is completely vacuous, there's no story, substance, interest in this film whatsoever.
Daftly entertaining action flick...
I think Nick Cage isn' t the only one to see in the future as this is one of those 'if I can't guess whats going to happen - I might as well give up' sort of movies. It has a deli counter full of cheese and is remarkably wooden in parts, but in a way that all adds a bit to its hook, and it makes it all a really quite entertaining movie. Its an action film rather than a thinker, but has some good little bits hidden in it. So if you don't expect too much and want to be entertained for 96 minutes it won't let you down. I enjoyed it and would say it is worth a recommendation.
Strange things are happening on planet Earth. A bay in Japan freezes solid. It snows on the Sphinx. All the electricity in Los Angeles turns off just like a light. Some are starting to wonder, a breathless TV journalist intones, if the hand of God is involved.
Not quite. Place the blame on the hand of Hollywood, always eager to put the planet in peril in the service of yet another superhero sequel, in this case Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.
Almost alone among comic-book adaptations, the Fantastic Four films, both the eponymous original and this one, manage to be less sophisticated than their original source material. While the comic wa...
(Trying to avoid the cliche but this is...) Fantastic!
The first Fantastic Four film was met with a slew of negative reviews from the entertainment press. Not that any of that stopped audiences flocking to see the exploits of the much-loved Marvel family. Audiences lapped up the family friendly antics of the four, and this lit the way for a sequel to follow.
For the sequel all the core cast return - Jessica Alba as Susan Storm, Iaon Grufford as Reed Richards, Chris Evans as Johnny Storm, and Michael Chiklis as Ben Grimm - as the team of heroes with cosmic powers. As The Invisible Woman, Mr Fantastic, The Human Torch, and The Thing respectably the four have now settled into their high-profile super-lives, although it has meant a few pro...
The tagline says, "If you can see the future, you can save it." For that matter, if you don't see Next, you can save 96 minutes. What starts out as a mildly diverting thriller blows itself to smithereens in the final reel -- rather appropriately, given the nuclear bomb ticking away in the background. As a fugitive whose clairvoyant powers make him a target for both the U.S. government and some Eurotrash terrorists, Nicolas Cage should help boost audience turnout, suggesting a solid but not dazzling B.O. future for the pre-summer Paramount release.
Having recently blazed up the screen in Ghost Rider, Cage (who also produced Next) is once again in reluctant ac...

This was a corny movie but I decided to watch it anyway. Before I could get to the gist of the story line it cut off and then offered me unlimited use for a fee. Megavideo
not as good as I thought it would have been..sad part is that if it had been a different sort of predictable it would have been better..b/c i came to scenes where i was thinking "it could go like this or this could happen" and if it had been the latter it would have gone better.
Simple revenge flick. Wasn't as good as I hoped. It's missing a training Montague and some action fight scenes. It seemed to peak way to early and they just filled in the last 20-30 minutes with stuff to make it a hour and a half. Lucy Lui fans watch so you can say you saw it. 1.5/5
