Absolutely pointless remake. The director basically followed Hitchcock's every step; the shots are pretty much identical to the original - the only differences were a different cast, the film was in colour and there was some altered dialogue, if I remember correctly.

There's really no sense in remaking a film if you aren't going to incorporate your own style into it. It's like covering a song and attempting to mimic the original singer's vocals. Just no point. It's a good cast and the acting wasn't bad, but as I say..there was really no need for this. 1.5/5 rating.

I can't believe my eyes. I have been looking for Psycho for ages, and here it is. Such a touching story that I am almost charmed by it. I would certainly rate the movie by 5/10.

Oh, I always love films shoot by Gus Van Sant. I always can find some sweet moments or innovative ideas in these films. For example, Psycho is still stuck in my mind while it displays the life moments so known to me.
