Gifted med student Ted Grey (Milo Ventimiglia, HEROES) arrives at a major Washington, D.C., as an intern, where he is met with suspicion and resentment by the tightly knit group of fellow young pathologists-in-training. Soon, though, Ted is accepted into their circle---where they each take turns committing a murder so that the others may prove their mettle by figuring out the cause of death and celebrate with drug-fuelled orgies among the dead bodies in the hospital. Things change for Ted, though, when his law student fianc?e, Gwen (Alyssa Milano), moves to the city and helps to scare him stra... ight. Soon, crazed Wallace Stevens-quoting leader Jake Gallo (Michael Weston) turns on Ted, putting both Ted's and Gwen's lives in serious jeopardy.

Pathology is a nasty, naughty little film, a delightfully disagreeable horror-thriller about a group of medical students who engage in unusual extracurricular activities. Milo Ventimiglia (a familiar face from TV's "Heroes" and "Gilmore Girls") plays a clean-cut, straight-arrow medical student who finds himself thrown in with a group of burned-out fellow pathology residents in the Los Angeles county morgue. Soon after being introduced to their heavy drinking, meth smoking and kinky sex, Ventimiglia's character is initiated into the group's most outr?? hobby, a game by which one of them kills someone and the rest have to determine the increasingly obscure and baro...
disturbing insight ........
I waited for ages to see this and sadly I ended up watching it in three parts because I kept on getting disturbed, but even then I was still gripped with a morbid fascination.
This was a really good, interesting thriller and that's coming from a viewer who didn't have chance to watch it all in one go, so probably didn't get the full effect.
It makes you wonder if you really are getting a disturbing insight into the disrespect and dark sides of SOME pathologists - obviously not killing people for fun, but the poking fun at the bodies, messing around with trolleys with bodies on them etc - I know it's not a nice thought, but we do read real stories of this sort of...
Pathology Death, drugs, sex and a whole morgue-load of bodily trauma are whipped into a dodgy speedball in Marc Schoelermann's braindead medical thriller
The first thing you need to know about Pathology is that it was brought to you by the writers of Crank. For the uninitiated, this was a film that bellowed: "I AM A LOBOTOMISED ACTION MOVIE - DEAL WITH IT!" and, on that basis, largely got away with its amphetamised moronism. Although Pathology shares the same smirking lack of shame, it thinks it's smart. Big mistake.
In fact, it's one of the most movie-ish movies imaginable, playing like a 90-minute trailer for itself. Want proof? Everyone knows everything abou...

A Milo Ventimiglia movie that kinda went under the radar? Why, oh why? He is, after all, mister hottie of the universe. Then I watch the darn movie and oh, ok, I get why. This really isn't that great, or original, or bloody, seen it all before, hey, in Anatomy (with franka potente) for example. I started watching this movie for Milo but found out Lauren Lee Smith was in it, and she is, after all, miss hottie of the universe. So if movie ratings were all about eye candy, this would get 10 out of 10. Good too see alissa Milano is still kinda (KINDA) relevant. She's hot too. Yeah, I'm so superficial, deal with it.
