I expected another story. It seemed not to catch up, kind of lingered the whole time but the musical numbers were great and the girl were simply delicious and fabulous. 3/5

I could not sit through this movie at all. To me it was noisy and boring! I didn't watch it all so I won't comment on the movie. However would love to say that Penelope Cruz was kind of pretty in this film except or her badly done streaks which aged her beyond recognition. Honey..fire the stylist for making you look like an old Gypsy prostitute! OMG! let's not forget Ms..Sophia Loren! lol Sophia looked like a 100 yr old wax figure that was stolen from the wax museum then sold on ebay! The wax museum is looking for their Italian fish monger with a bad case of botox overdose!

Celebrity look alike drag queens would of made this musical 10 x/s more interesting. Kate Hudson was cute but looked like a 80's valley girl during her first act!! Hun, give me some gay guys and a choreographer anyday and we have a party!

daniel day lewis is an artist, theres nothing that he cant do..i loved it..all the singing and dancing..it was just great.

loved all the women in the movie, it was a feast for the eyes and ears!!

i cant believe i wasted my money to go watch this movie at the cinema. what a total waste, i did not get this slow boring movie,i just DID NOT GET IT! I was waiting for it to end and by the end of the movie i asked myself ''what was this movie about?'' i couldnt answer that question.

oh, and why the hell is this movie called nine??

It's not as good as made out to be.

I remember seeing the trailer on TV and saw all the raving reviews about how great it was? Plot is dull .. not much to keep me interested.

this was an amazing rendition of Nine. i have been a fan of this musical ever since i saw the revival when i was 13. i loved more things about it than i disliked. i wasn't a huge fan of Nicole Kidman's version of "Unusual Way" it wasn't bad, but very different, and when you are used to the amazing soprano of Laura Benanti, it is a bit of a letdown, but it wasn't horrible at all. Fergie did an amazing job with "Be Italian"! Penelope Cruz was fantastic as Carla, i just wish they had let her sing "Simple" instead of cutting it out because it would have been fantastic and brought the story together a bit more. Judi Dench was fantastic!! her "Forlies Bergere" was great. Marion Cotilliard was AMAZING! as Luisa. her version of "My Husband Makes Movies" is my favorite i have ever heard, and "Take It All" was breathtaking. Kate Hudson, Sophia Loren, and Daniel Day Lewis were all fantastic as well. I love musicals, i love Italian culture, and i love the style from the 50s and 60s, if you enjoy any of those things you will love this movie. my only complaint is they cut out some good songs, i wish they had left them in and made the movie longer

This is one of those movies I'm so glad I could watch here for free. I enjoyed it but not enough to fork over $8.50 at the theater. Fergie's "sand" dance was amazing. Kate Hudson looked just like her mom go-go dancing circa Laugh-In days. Sophia Loren and Nicole Kidman seemed like "stunt casting" (sorry Sophia) and both turned in forgettable performances. Daniel Day-Lewis was great as usual. 4/5
