	Storyline:	Nikita is a young lady who with two Nihilist friends commit robbery and murder while on drugs. After her trial she is not executed or taken to prison, but to a school for special operatives. She is told that Nikita no longer exists and she will be trained to pay back society for what she has done, as a spy/assassin. She is trained for over two years and with no warning is handed a gun in a restaurant and told to kill the man at the next table as her handler leaves.

A BEAUTIFULLY DONE STORY, WELL DONE PERFORMANCES BY ALL CAST MEMBER'S NIKITA IS A MOVIE WHERE YOU WANT TO SEE HOW EVERYTHING IS PLAYED OUT AND YOU KNOW FROM THE BEGINING THAT THE MOVIE IS GOING TO UNFOLD, NOT ONLY SUSPENSEFULLY BUT BRILLANTLY . THERES A SERIES COMMING IN THE FALL ON CW11 I JUST HOPE ITS AS GOOD AS THIS MOVIE WAS. THEY JUST NEED TO LET THE FRENCH MAKE HOLLYWOOD THEIR OWN BECAUSE THEIR MOVIES ARE SO INGENIOUS AND REMARKABLY POWERFULL

Hey, yeah this was so much classier than the subsequent Hollywood remake with Bridget Fonda.. why do they keep doing remakes, they're never as good as the originals. I felt so sorry for the character in this movie, to have your Life taken away like that, to be owned by an agency.. heavy. A good story though and it still has relevance today almost 20 years since it was released. Really great movie..
