Negotiator, TheJackson is Danny Roman, a police negotiator who fears he is being set up, so takes control of a police office and takes hostages. What would be a run of the mill action movie is enlivened by the sheer joy of watching two of Hollywood's best actors clearly having a ball, and relishing the sharp banter and the plot contrivances rather than treating them with contempt.
