Hurtling across the screen in sky-blue stretchy pants worn under apple-red underwear, Jack Black makes a lasting impression. He's bouncy. He's kinetic. He flies into solid objects with great force. Days after seeing him in Nacho Libre, Jared Hess' sweet, dumb-funny follow-up to Napoleon Dynamite (which he also co-wrote with his wife, Jerusha Hess), I kept picturing Black as a giant Super Ball. I loved Super Balls as a kid, and regarded them as the amazing apotheosis of a major scientific advancement of some kind, just as the box copy told me to. Anyway, simpler times.

"Ooh, pro wrestling from Mexico. You know, down there, it's a real sport!" So observed the great sage Homer Simpson. And in a sense, the great donut devourer is right. Not that lucha libre is a truly competitive activity, but it's governed by strict laws and traditions. Indeed, Mexican wrestling has just enough respectability to make it a dodgy subject for a broad American comedy movie.

Hopefully the likes of El Dandy, Super Crazy and Lizmark Jnr (great luchadores to a man) will find plenty to like about Na...

Leave my Nacho's alone
This film is about a monk who decides to become a wrestler to help the children of his orphanage. This movie was over-acted with bad accents and bad acting. The script was terrible and I really wish that I had gone with my wife on this one and not watched it. When a film has to result to using fart noises you know that its downhill from there on. Not for me i'm afraid.

Jack Black really surprised me in this, actually the whole movie itself surprised me.. I had put off seeing it cause I didn't think it'd be good and I found out I was wrong.. It's got a weird off beat story but, it tells the story with various types of humor.. [SPOILER]
I hate the Orphans lol
.. It to me seemed like a Napoleon Dynamite type of movie except better story and humor and acting lol.. I would watch this again sometime.. 9/10..
