	Storyline:	Inspired by a true story. A petty criminal sent to Alcatraz in the 1930s is caught attempting to make an escape. As punishment, he is put in solitary confinement. The story follows a rookie lawyer attempting to prove that Alcatraz was to blame, and that Henri should not be executed.

A very moving story indeed. I watched this film because it starred Gary Oldman, however full credit must go to Kevin Bacon who gave a wonderful performance. A must see movie. 9/10.

Wow, this was a very pleasant surprise

Gary Oldman as a villain is great as always

but the gems here are Christian Slater and

especially Kevin Bacon. This film will shock you

at times but also melt your heart a spell.

Based on a true story, so it adds to the overall

sympathy you feel for the main character. Enjoy.
