Great performance by Thornton. No matter what movie he is in, he absorbs the role and is that person. Unlike Cruise, Smith and so many others whom you can always tell it is them in any role they play, you forget this is Thornton. Same in Sling Blade. Berry on the other hand is just not believable, and once again is just Halle Berry in this role. The accent is just to fake and she tries too hard to be black. Face it folks, she may be one color, but she acts another, just like Tiger.

5/5 for Billy Bob.

It brings so many issues to the surface that we try to ignore so I assume that means it was a good movie. On the other hand if it makes you angry at the way things were, should i assume it was a bad movie? You'll have to be the judge.

I have now seen the rest I just clicked watch full movie again but played it from when I last saw it from. Brilliant movie. Worth you`re time. But the ending isn`t that happy because she has still got that something on her mind.

love this film its a good film i like how they intwine their lifes after so much pain the sex scene very tastefully done and show a man making love for the first time his idea of sex is to not contect to the woman its all about no emotion just the sex act however when he and halle get it on he does the sex act thing the way he is you to but she changes that and the real man comes alive

every one is still so stuck on the fact Hallie stripped off the clothes and boinked bill bob that the miss the meaningfulness of the movie. and your so stuck on the sex that u miss the dialog when it's over. [SPOILER] good film not great but good

This is the movie I've been waiting on. It was fantastic! Solid gold performances by Thornton and Berry. Heath's supporting role was great, as well. I loved the development of the character of Hank. 4/4 stars!
