Sam Peckinpah he ain't. This movie is just plain dumb and BADLY directed, this man has clearly lost the plot.
We have a virus that when in the blood stream, doesn't actually seem contagious, as the 2 characters that do actually pump it into their blood stream wander willy nilly through airports, cities and have close contact with the other main characters, who don't seem to care or contract anything. So you ask yourself,erm...where is the danger exactly? Tom Cruise does a lot of posturing and ludacrious stunts. Lot's of mask ripping and crummy dialogue, infact if you want a laugh, it's much funnier than Starsky and Hutch. On the pants scale it gets 4 out of 5. |
