Carry On Cop Killer
I enjoyed this San Francisco version of 'Beverley Hills Cop' where Eddie Murphy's best mate gets slaughtered by the otherwise intelligent and intellectual Michael Wincott.
There then follows a series of chases and shoot outs to rival most of the standard police potboilers. I had not seen this film since it was on the screen in 1997 and it came up on the Tesco recommended viewing for my profile. Well done Tesco, you were on the button as I enjoyed the film immensely, it was plausible without taking itself too seriously and Murphy was cheeky but controlled. Good stunts and believable if you do not look too closely with a cracking ending when they all get their just desserts. Worth the money, especially as I do not have find space on the shelf, I can just post it back. |
