After a four-year wait, The Matrix returns. Was it worth the loading time? Yes, but of course there are caveats. This sequel had a lot to live up to: not only was the first film seminal and technically ground-breaking, but the hype machine during 2003 was whirring and smoking with all the talk about the franchise's multimedia excursions (two films, nine Animatrix shorts, a videogame that broke shipment records).

only after multiple plays will anyone come close to either getting the plot or truly appreciating the raw power and pulse racing energy that is so present in the action/effects sequences.
Although a lot of the script may seem techno babblish,the fact is it is quite innovative.
