it was a full house and i tried to sit as far away from the kids as possible..but to no avail. they found me! they couldn't have been more than 6 years old each..they sat in front of me, behind me and i think to my left. but what was magical about this movie was that these little lambs were so quiet during the film i forgot they were there until after the movie was over..and i realized how powerful this movie was..IS! to reach across and touch everyone who watched it, regardless of age or background.

i read the autobiography soon after seeing the film and realized that spike lee had done a spectacular job in depicting those words which were HIS OWN [Malcolm Xs] onto the screen.

..and lets not forget mr denzel washington's performance! MAGNIFICENT!

I didn't really know much about Malcolm X before other than that he was a "freedom speaker". But after watching this film and various interviews of him on the internet i'm glad I saw this film. Much love to Malcolm X.
