Lone Wolf McQuade
This is probably the best movie action-man hero Chuck Norris has ever made. He plays a Texas Ranger battling evil gunrunner David Carradine in this modern western, which is styled after the work of Italian maestro Sergio Leone. Barbara Carrera provides the love interest in a sticky subplot, but the thrust of director Steve Carver (another Roger Corman protégé) always remains geared towards the super-macho elements — strong, silent heroes and villains, loads of weaponry in every shape and size, and self-styled enigmatic warriors playing rough.
