When the life of Jean-Claude Van Damme collides with the reality of a hold-up in Brussels, Belgium, suddenly the huge movie star turns into an ordinary guy, filled with fears, contradictions and hopes. How can he be up to the legend he has built? What can a film hero do when the gun pointed to his temple isn't charged with blanks? JCVD finds himself at the turning point of his "hero" life.

I tried to finish this movie ..It may be one of those times you thank god for mega video shutting the film down after 72 minutes ..I don't know if that happened or i just fell asleep or had a small stroke ..Some failure between my eyes and my brain demanded this movie end prematurely ..I hope for jcvd that the ending was unbelievably interesting because the first 2/3rds left me numb 4/10
a good movie, van damme proved that he can play in dramas, though playin himself was weird and maybe unnecessary, and hope he keeps doin some dramas rather than some stupid low budget action movies
by far van damme's best flick. i never saw van damme as a good actor, average at best. but after watching this film i noticed how good of an actor he really is. great film with some action and sad in many ways. if you or dont like van damme this is a film you cannot miss. it's almost a bio. of him. 3 1/2 of 4 stars excellent.
