Into the NightLandis does well to keep us entertained with this slight story of Goldblum hooking up Pfeiffer on the run with nowhere much to go in nocturnal LA. As the succession of bizarre characters they encounter includes most of the celebs from Landis's address book (ranging from David Bowie to David Cronenberg), Into the Night turns into a film buff's dream. However, even the glossy photography and Pfeiffer's convincing performance can't make this add up to more than its slightly amusing parts.
