	Storyline:	In the beginning of July, a strange spaceship is heading towards Earth. Humans received a strange signal, and this has turned into a global phenomenon. Then, when the world counterattacked, the alien ships are invincible to normal weapon systems, then The President of the United States, decides to head to area 51, to formulate a plan to defeat the aliens. Now, the fate of the world rests on a handful of surviving humans.

I think Will smith is great in Sci Fi movies , The movie is epic and beautifully directed. Would be more better if there were more scenes of aliens fighting just like Arnold, fight with the alien in predator. Nonetheless great sci fi movie and worth watching it. 8/10

I'm shocked at the 7.3 rating..this has got to be an all time favorite, great for families, and I don't mean families like Disney family. Humorous, action-packed, and inspirational, this movie was made to entertain and please. Haha, Will Smith does great in this movie, never can get tired of him. Watch it now!

This has got to be the BEST Film made or close to it. I thought Will Smith could not top this until Pursuit of Happyness. But overall, this film cannot be beat..5/5++. The ultimate in film making directing, acting and special effects!

This film was really good. Will Smith did a really good job playing his character. Also, the movie had a really good plot. The actors and actresses did a good job adjusting to those characters. They should have shown more of the aliens, and showed people training Will Smith how to fly that big ship. Overall, this film was spectacular.

I can't understand how Independence day is only getting 6.9!! Surely there are worse movies out there..Common it had amazing special effects for its time and even now, 13 years later not many movies can boast of doing better than Independence day. 10/10 from me!!
