This is a great movie, great cast It's a crime movie, and I must say I really enjoyed it too much. It made me confused here and there, but I think I'm left speechless.

I give it 4 out of 5 AND PUT IT IN MY COLLECTION

What an absolute FANTASTIC movie!! A great cast of characters. I am a huge fan of Tommy Lee Jones to begin with, but I think this is deffinately one of his better if not best roles. Will go on my excellent movies list! 5/5

this was a hurried badly edited, version of the book. it was mis-cast and mis-directed, with obviously phoney accents from all.. tommy lee looked like he could barely keep a good walk going so why show him walking for so long, in one scene when hes walking his barndoor is down, now why not cut and re-shoot that? its really a 2 but i give it a 3 because of the wasted talent. james lee burke sorta rambles with his stories, and so does this movie.
