On IMDB it says that Lagosi's character wasn't adequately explained. Duh, the idiot who wrote that review needs the obvious explained to him, I guess! Lagosi's character was God/Nature! The symbolism was awesome, I'm a fan of Italian horror, and the symbolism in this is on the same level, so I totally get the points being put across by it. The people who say Wood was no good are people who can't write/direct/produce their way out of a paper bag. Wood was a genius, without a budget. Give that guy a budget, and he'd blow your mind. Only now are people beginning to fathom his next-level brilliance. Some of his unpublished/unproduced writings are now being made, finally. The movies will be remade as well, with bigger budgets to do them justice, just wait and see.

Most people already are aware of it, but for the few who may not be, Daniel Davis (the actor who plays Glen/Glenda) is actually Ed Wood, using a phony name.
