set in modern times, but with an old classic feel. Low budget but artful in its approach. Some good acting but some cheesy acting in parts also. Not your typical teenage horror flick. It is better and more entertaining than many big budget werewolf flicks. Worth watching but they should have reshot some of the scenes and demanded better quality acting in some of the parts. Still pretty good.

It's definitely not the best Werewolf movie I've seen, not even close.. Ginger Snaps is nothing special.. The Wolfman (Original), Teen Wolf, Any of the Underworld movies, Cursed, Wolf, The Howling, An American Werewolf in London and Paris are all better than this.. To each their own though.. This movie had way to many beat you over the head metaphors to it and it just kept dragging on to me.. I'll check out to see if the sequels are any better.. 2/5..

A really good movie, I never thought I would like this but after watching it, so good. Oh yeah you know how your not able to watch the rest of the movie well go to youtube and look it up, that's how I finished the movie, the ending is awesome, in my opinion.

I saw this the other day on a site where you could chat with others while you watch films. If you remove the chatting component from viewing this, I would have to say it's a terrible D film. The only entertaining part about it was ripping it APART and pointing out cliche's to the others online. You remember, kind of like that MST3000 used to do?

The fact that it actually is rated so high here isnt as surprising to me as the film's title actually being what people kept telling me it was. I mean "Ginger Snaps" sounds like a completely different TYPE of movie to me.

Nothing to see here. Move along, move along..
