i just bought it again i did not watch it 4 some time now but after i heard that he died i had 2 watch it again this was and is my favourite movie and im not really into those kinds of movies i remember watching it when i was 6 and yes im a man and not gay this movie scared me when i was young them black monsters that sound still give me the creeps even though its just baby crying in slow speed classic movie 100/100

Hey, Okay so I keep passing by this old chestnut, but today I was just in the mood to re-visit "Ghost" and once-and-for-all decide what I think of it. Over the years I've seen this movie must be a dozen times or more but not recently. It's a romantic drama with a bit of comedy c/o the splendid Whoopi Goldberg. I've read other people's comments for and against but my ultimate conclusion is that this IS a classic drama, it hits the spots and presses all the buttons. If you ever lost a Loved one it'll resonate with you and though the ending is a bit on the cheezy side, you may well find a tear or two in your eyes however cynical you may normally be. Patrick Swayze did a good job on this film, as did Demi, Whoopi and the rest and of course the fantastic "Unchained Melody" recording by the Righteous Brothers was rediscovered by a whole new generation who hadn't grown up with singles and juke-boxes. I don't care what anyone else says, this IS a classic movie, a good story and a fine piece of work by all concerned. Whether it's your 'thing' or not is really immaterial, it does what it says on the packet and basically, what more can we ever ask of any film? Good stuff, full-marks, 5/5

I've loved it from the first time I've watched this movie many many years ago. It's a great love story though it's sad. Good watch with your other half. Brought tears to my eyes.

Of course, Whoopi's comical acting also contributed to the pain in my tummy from all the laughing which resulted in a bit of tears. LoL!! :p

A whopping 10/10! A must watch for all times!
