A fun look at life for the "King Of The Jungle". In the opening animation, we learn that George is displaced from his family during a horrible plane crash that has only little boy George being lost from the rest of the passengers. An uninspired, if mildly likeable, spin on the Tarzan legend from Disney. A child gets lost in the jungle after a plane crash, and grows up to be Fraser, brought up by friendly monkeys. He saves the life of a US woman on safari (Mann), and starts to learn about human relationships. When her partner (Haden Church) finds them, she persuades George to go back to San Francisco with them, where much predictable fish-out-of-water comedy ensues. Fraser does little more than revive his gormless California Man turn, and the humour is strictly for the kiddies.
